Unusual incident unfolds during medical recruitment exam.

In a surprising incident during the para-medical recruitment exams at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Faridkot, a man managed to deceive the university by dressing up as a woman to appear for the exam. The individual, identified as Angrez Singh from Fazilka, dressed as a woman, complete with a suit, red bangles, bindi, and lipstick, using the student ID of Paramjeet Kaur, daughter of Bhajan Lal.

The deceptive act initially went unnoticed, but the examination authorities later caught the impersonator when biometric prints did not match the identity of Paramjeet Kaur. Angrez Singh was subsequently arrested by the police. Further investigation revealed that the man had used a fabricated voter card and Aadhar card to attempt the examination under a false identity.

The examination, which aimed to fill 806 posts of multi-purpose health workers and 83 posts of ophthalmic officers, was conducted by the University of Health Sciences. The university had set up 26 centers in Faridkot, Ferozepur, and Kotkapura for the examination. This incident underscores the importance of robust security measures during academic evaluations to prevent fraudulent activities and maintain the credibility of the examination system.
