The Ranking Member on the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, Youth and Culture, Hon. Ekow Vincent Assafuah, has urged the Black Stars to ensure maximum concentration throughout the 90 minutes in Friday’s crucial World Cup Qualifier against Chad.
The Black Stars will take on Chad in game week 5 of the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21.
Hon. Ekow Assafuah was part of a contingent from the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, Youth and Culture that visited the Black Stars during Thursday evening’s training session at the stadium.
Addressing the players, the ranking member highlighted the need for maximum concentration throughout the 90 minutes.
“I can only plead and urge you, that as professionals, concentration is very key, especially for the 90 minutes. If we lose a minute or two of concentration, we may have a problem. Concentration is very key, and if you do so within the 90 minutes, you’ll come out with flying colors.” He stated.
The Captain of the team, Jordan Ayew, assured the MP of maximum concentration and commitment to deliver on Friday.
