Singer Declares Her Son’s Father Is Not Public Concern
Ghanaian music legend Mzbel, born Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, has addressed persistent rumors surrounding the paternity of her son, Aaron Adepa Amoah. Speculation erupted earlier this year, suggesting that the late musician Castro, who mysteriously disappeared in 2014, was the child’s father. However, Mzbel has categorically dismissed these claims.
Speaking on Max TV, the 16 Years hitmaker clarified that she last saw Castro in 2013, when Ghanaian musicians gathered to record a tribute song for Ronnie Coaches of Buk Bak, who had passed away. “The last time I saw Castro was when Ronnie Coaches died. I gave birth to Adepa six years after my friendship with Castro ended,” she stated, dismissing the rumors as baseless.

Mzbel also questioned why the public remains fixated on her child’s paternity. “Why is it by force for people to know the father of my child? Many public relationships don’t end well,” she noted. She emphasized that her son has a healthy relationship with his father, but she has no intention of ever revealing his identity.
Drawing a firm boundary, Mzbel made it clear that her son’s paternity is a private matter and not subject to social media speculation. “Those who matter know the truth,” she said, ending all further debate on the issue.
