National Service Personnel May Get Allowance Increase From the Currect GHC 715

The Director-General of the Ghana National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has assured National Service Personnel of a possible increase in their allowances amid rising inflation and economic challenges.

Speaking on 3FM Sunrise on April 2, 2025, he confirmed that President John Mahama is actively considering the increment.

The current allowance (GHC715) is inadequate. Discussions are ongoing to adjust it to a more sustainable figure,” he stated.

Additionally, he directed District Managers to prioritize the security and accommodation of personnel posted to their districts.
