The National Sports College (NSC) has graduated 35 new strength and power coaches as part of its efforts to enhance sports performance in Ghana.
The three-day course, led by Dr. Kyle Pierce of Louisiana State University, equipped coaches with skills to improve athlete performance from warm-up to peak levels.
Addressing participants at the closing ceremony, Director General Mr. Bawah Fuseini praised Dr. Pierce’s dedication and announced plans to introduce two international programmes; sports law and football agency next year, supported by experts from Portugal. He encouraged the graduates to make the most of their training, emphasizing the value of quality learning time.
Technical Director Mr. Emmanuel Appiah also commended the participants and highlighted ongoing efforts to roll out more professional courses.
On his part, Dr. Pierce expressed satisfaction with the coaches’ engagement and revealed that talks are underway to offer additional training in partnership with Louisiana State University.
