A delegation from the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has paid a working visit to the National Sports College (NSC), Winneba, to inspect facilities earmarked for the upcoming Play Abroad Programme.
The visit formed part of the Agency’s stakeholder engagement to present details on the implementation of the initiative and to assess the college’s readiness to host players who will benefit from it.
Accompanying the team were the Chief Director of the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, Ms. Wihemina Asamoah, and the Director of the NSC, Mr. Bawah Fuseini, alongside officials from the Ministry of Employment, Ministry of Sports and Recreation, the YEA, and the NSC.
The Play Abroad Initiative seeks to nurture homegrown sporting talent, promote ethical recruitment practices, and ensure the safe and legal migration of young sports professionals.
