The newly elected President of the Rotary Club of Accra-Kanda, RP. Isaac Darko-Mensah, has expressed his gratitude and humility at being chosen to lead the club for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. 

In his acceptance speech during a brief but colorful handing over ceremony on Friday, 19th July, 2024, Rotarian President Darko-Mensah praised the outgoing President, IPP Antwiwaa, and her board for their dedication and achievements during their tenure.

“I am honored to lead this great club, and I promise to work tirelessly to ensure that we achieve our goals and make a meaningful impact in our communities,” President Darko-Mensah said.

Rotarian President Darko-Mensah outlined his vision for the club, emphasizing the importance of partnerships and collaborations with external organizations to drive membership growth and sustainable community projects. 

He announced that the club will engage in joint meetings with other Rotary clubs to strengthen their position within the Rotary family cycle.

RP. Darko-Mensah also extended an invitation to all members to maintain their enthusiasm and support, emphasizing that the club’s success relies on the collective expertise and passion of its members. He also welcomed non-members to join the Accra-Kanda Rotary Club, promising a future of tremendous success and community impact.

The board members were also introduced, comprising: Vice President: IPP Antwiwaa, administration: Rtn. Nissi, treasurer: PP. Henrietta, membership: PP Rex, Service Project: Rtn. Maxwell, Foundation: PP. Nana Yaa and public Image: Rtn. Evelyn.

Rotarians who also played exceptional roles last year were also honored with a decorated citation. Highlighting the significance of community devotion and dedicated.

With a focus on service projects, partnerships, and member engagement, Rotarian President Darko-Mensah’s leadership promises an exciting and transformative year for the Rotary Club of Accra-Kanda.
