The NGO Founders Global Network Ghana Chapter, powered by Blessed Care International Foundation, is set to host its inaugural conference on November 28-29, 2024, at Best Western Plus Hotel, Accra. This significant two-day event brings together NGO founders, thought leaders, and youth advocates for impactful dialogue and action aimed at fostering development and social empowerment within Ghana.
The conference is divided into two thematic days. Day 1, Impact Day, focuses on engaging directly with students on their school compound, offering hands-on activities and interactive sessions designed to inspire young minds towards community involvement and social impact. Day 2, Inauguration & Lectures, includes the formal inauguration of the conference, alongside lectures on two critical themes: The Roles of Nonprofit Organizations in National Development and Opportunities for Collaboration Between Nonprofits and Government for Youth Empowerment.
The event aims to foster collaboration among stakeholders, identify key challenges and solutions in education and youth empowerment, and establish a network for non-profit organizations. Expected outcomes include increased awareness of education challenges and opportunities, identification of potential partnerships and collaborations, insights into successful education impact projects, understanding of non-profit organizations’ role in youth empowerment, and establishment of connections among stakeholders.
According to Melvin Tackey, CEO of Blessed Care International Foundation, “This conference is a crucial step towards empowering communities through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. We look forward to meaningful discussions and actionable outcomes that will drive positive change in Ghana.”
Blessed Care International Foundation is a leading non-profit organization committed to promoting sustainable development in Ghana. Under Tackey’s visionary leadership, the foundation has made significant strides in empowering communities.
