NSA Disengages Volunteers Nationwide as Part of Restructuring Plan

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the disengagement of all volunteers across its offices as part of a nationwide restructuring exercise.

The directive, which takes effect from February 28, 2025, was outlined in a statement dated February 25, 2025, and signed by Felix Gyamfi, Director General of the NSA.

According to the statement, exceptions will be made for districts with only one staff member, where a single volunteer will be retained to provide essential assistance. Additionally, districts currently managed by temporary personnel will be allowed to retain one assistant, cleaner, catering staff, and farm personnel to ensure the continuation of operations.

The NSA expressed gratitude to all outgoing volunteers for their dedication, hard work, and commitment during their period of service.
