NSS to Deduct GH₵100 from February Allowance for Service Cloth and Insurance
The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced a GH₵100 deduction from the February allowance of all National Service Personnel (NSP) to cover the cost of the National Service Cloth, which has been distributed nationwide.
In an official statement, the NSS also indicated that personnel enrolled in the SIC insurance scheme will see additional deductions to cover four months of unpaid insurance contributions.
The Scheme reassured personnel that February allowances will still be disbursed, albeit with the necessary adjustments. It further encouraged personnel to seek clarification on any concerns regarding the deductions.
The NSS expressed gratitude for the cooperation of service personnel and promised to communicate further updates when necessary.
