Peter Sedufia’s latest film, One Night Guest, is set for a Christmas 2024 release, after wrapping up production earlier this year. A collaboration between OldFilm Productions (Ghana), Sozo Films (Nigeria), and Gravel Road Studios (South Africa), the film features a star-studded cast, including Yvonne Okoro, Majid Michel, Ini Edo, and Warri Pikin.
The film, written and directed by Sedufia, began production in 2022. Known for his previous works like Keteke and Sidechic Gang, Sedufia has earned a reputation as one of Ghana’s top filmmakers. The collaboration between Ghanaian and Nigerian actors highlights the growing ties between the two countries’ film industries, strengthening West Africa’s presence in global cinema.
Set for release on Christmas Day, One Night Guest is expected to draw significant attention, both locally and internationally. Silverbird Cinemas will handle the box office release, while Canal Plus has secured international rights. The film’s cross-border collaboration showcases the power of African talent and storytelling.
