The 2024 Black Star Marathon, organized by Runathon Foundation, is set to take place on Saturday, July 27, at the Independence Square in Accra. This year’s event is expected to attract over 10,000 runners from across the country, making it one of the largest marathons in Ghana.
The marathon will feature two main categories; the 42.2 km elite men and women’s race, and the 10 km mass run. The 42.2 km wheelchair marathon will also be available for participants with disabilities.
The event aims to bring together people from all walks of life to promote health, fitness, and unity.
The Black Star Marathon has partnered with several organizations, including the Ghana Athletics Association, Drake Relays, and eGo-Tickets, to ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for all participants.
