Earlier reports from entertainment platform NKONKONSA.com alleged that the media personality was picked up by police, with an image circulating on social media showing her in handcuffs and visibly distressed. This sparked widespread concern among her fans and the public.
The photo, which featured Serwaa without her usual glamorous appearance, added to the confusion, but the reason behind her alleged arrest was never specified, leading to further speculation.
In response, the Ghana Police Service issued an official statement categorically denying the rumours. “The Ghana Police Service has not arrested Serwaa Amihere. Our investigation indicates that the picture circulating online is from a music video,” the statement read.
