Rastafari Council Promotes Health and Empowerment Ahead of 10th National Conference
The Rastafari Council, Ghana (RCG), in collaboration with Natural Way Herbal Clinic, has successfully organized a free health screening exercise at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) headquarters in Accra.
This initiative is part of activities leading up to the 10th National Rastafari Conference, scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Centre for National Culture (Arts Centre) in Accra.

Established in 2009, the Rastafari Council, Ghana is committed to promoting the teachings of Emperor Haile Selassie I and advocating for the upliftment of Rastafari communities in Ghana. The council includes various Rastafari mansions, such as the Ethiopian World Federation (EWF), Twelve Tribes of Israel (TTI), Ruutz International, and Baifikrom Nyahbinghi House.
Themed “Rastafari Education and Empowerment: Building Stronger Communities,” this year’s conference highlights the council’s dedication to health, education, and cultural heritage.

The keynote speaker, Prof. Imhotep Alagidede, President of the Nile Valley Metaversity and Group of Companies, follows in the footsteps of Ras Dr. Wayne Rose, who addressed the 9th National Rastafari Conference on the role of political consciousness in national development.
Dr. Wiafe Akenteng, CEO of Natural Way Herbal Clinic, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating:
“We partnered with the Rastafari Council because we share a deep commitment to the well-being of Ghanaians. This screening exercise is not just about identifying health issues—it’s about empowering individuals with knowledge for healthier lives.”

Royal Kofi Asante, Administrator of the Rastafari Council, Ghana, reaffirmed the council’s commitment to community health, emphasizing:
“Health is a fundamental right, and we believe in giving back to our community. This initiative ensures that Rastafarians and the broader public have access to essential healthcare services. We are proud to partner with Natural Way Herbal Clinic in this effort.”
The Rastafari Council continues to champion social causes, using cultural events, educational programs, and community outreach to promote unity, peace, and empowerment.
