Elsewhere, Citizens and Multi Stix battled to a 2-2 draw, a result that dented Multi Stix’s title chase.

Arkmen and Legonknights also shared the spoils in a 1-1 stalemate. Peprah Kwaku put Legonknights ahead in the 27th minute, only for Quaye Addo to restore parity for Arkmen with a penalty corner in the 53rd minute.

The biggest clash of the day drew a large crowd as Army took on GRA. After a goalless first quarter, Ernest Obeng opened the scoring for GRA in the 33rd minute from a penalty corner. Army hit back in the 42nd minute through Desmond Ampah’s field goal. With both teams fighting for bragging rights and a place in the league’s top two, GRA claimed the advantage in the 53rd minute when Evans Tetteh struck the winner, sealing a 2-1 victory.

The result handed GRA not only the bragging rights but also three crucial points, securing second place on the league table, while Army were left disappointed.
