Defending champions Spintex Knights have ended the 2025 Accra Basketball League regular season undefeated, topping the table with 37 points after 18 matches at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.

The Knights swept through both rounds, recording notable victories over UG (70-59, 69-59), Braves (87-57), Air Force (64-49, 101-65), and GRA (84-41).

Head Coach Salorm Thomas said going unbeaten was not part of their initial plan. “Our main target was to improve game after game, be better than we were the previous season, and address the weaknesses we had on the court. Along the way, things came together, and I’m happy we were able to stay consistent, grow as a team, and finish the season unbeaten,” he stated.

Thomas praised the new recruits, including Luak, Omar Outman, Thomas, the twins Japheth and Shem, and young star Aziz, describing them as “very helpful” in lifting the team.

Looking ahead, the coach said the focus is on defending their title in the playoffs and preparing for the road to BAL. He also acknowledged the fierce competition, noting; “every team gave us their best shot, but our experience and togetherness always prevailed.”

The Knights will now seek to crown their unbeaten run with back-to-back league titles.
