Ashanti Region Table Tennis Development has received a substantial boost courtesy of Regional Chairman Samuel Tuffuor’s generous donation.
At a ceremony held at the regional sports office, Chairman Tuffuor presented two top-quality table tennis tables and nets to the Ashanti Table Tennis Club.
Chairman Tuffuor’s donation is set to empower the region’s youth by providing them with access to world-class equipment.
Coach Timothy Abaidoo, Regional Vice Chairman, accepted the donation on behalf of the club, praising Chairman Tuffuor’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
“This donation marks a significant investment in our region’s youth. We’re dedicated to unlocking their potential, and this equipment will enable us to provide world-class training and competition opportunities.” He said.
According to the chairman, he reaffirmed his dedication to promoting sports development in the region.
“Table tennis has immense growth potential. I’m passionate about supporting initiatives that foster youth development, community engagement, and sporting excellence.” He stated.
The Ashanti Table Tennis Club has been instrumental in identifying and nurturing young talent, providing a platform for players to refine their skills and compete regionally and nationally. This donation is expected to enhance the club’s capabilities, increase participation and accessibility, foster a stronger table tennis community, and contribute to the region’s sporting success.
