GIPC, Ghana Tourism Authority, and Ghana Export Promotion Authority Collaborate for Signature Christmas Event

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, is set to host the 4th edition of Taste of Ghana on December 27th at the State House. Themed “GH: The Africa Dream,” the event is a signature Christmas program aimed at showcasing Ghana’s rich heritage through music, food, arts, and culture. Notably, Taste of Ghana provides a platform for informal networking, connecting Ghanaians, the diaspora, and international visitors while exploring commercial and investment opportunities.

The event will feature headline performances by music superstars such as Shatta Wale, R2Bees, Adina, and EL. Beyond entertainment, Taste of Ghana includes a masquerade procession, dance performances, a fashion runway, art exhibitions, and local vendors offering traditional Ghanaian dishes and products. CEO of the GIPC, Yofi Grant, emphasizes that the event goes beyond entertainment, providing an opportunity to connect with potential local business partners, explore investment opportunities, and celebrate Ghana’s economic potential.

Akwasi Agyemang, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, highlights the event’s role in promoting tourism in Ghana. By showcasing the country’s diverse attractions, including landscapes, historical sites, and vibrant arts scenes, Taste of Ghana aims to attract both local and international visitors. Mr. Agyemang notes that the event aligns with the government’s vision to position Ghana as a top tourist destination in Africa.
