The Tema Metropolitan Assembly has successfully concluded its intensive sanitation and beautification campaign aimed at restoring cleanliness and improving the aesthetics of the city.

The week-long exercise, which ended on Saturday, 20th December, targeted Ceremonial Roads, communities, markets, lorry stations, institutions, and across the metropolis. The campaign places strong emphasis on cleaning and beautifying immediate surroundings, including frontages, drains, open spaces, and access roads.

The Metropolitan Chief Executive, Hon. Ebi Bright, stressed that sanitation is a shared responsibility and called on all residents, businesses, and institutions to actively participate in the exercise.

She further disclosed that all Assembly Members are fully involved in the campaign and have been adequately resourced with the necessary logistics to effectively coordinate and supervise activities within their respective electoral areas.
