The Flower Community Ghana is gearing up for the largest plants and flowers fair in Accra, scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 1, 2024, at the University of Ghana’s Academic Freedom Park. This year’s event, themed “Garden of Equality: Nurturing Women’s Contributions in Agriculture,” promises to be an unforgettable experience.

In partnership with the Center for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, the 5th edition of the fair is expected to attract top industry stakeholders, enthusiasts, and the general public. The event provides a unique platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and showcasing sustainable gardening practices.

The Flower Community Ghana has established itself as a champion of environmental stewardship, promoting eco-friendly practices and community engagement through its annual fairs. Over the past five years, the organization has consistently showcased the beauty and benefits of sustainable gardening.

According to Madam Matilda Abruquah, Founder of The Flower Community Ghana, “We invite plant enthusiasts, environmental advocates, and the general public to join us at the upcoming fair. Attendees can expect a vibrant display of plants, flowers, and opportunities to learn about sustainable gardening practices.”

The Flower Community Ghana’s commitment to social causes extends beyond the fair. The organization plans to expand initiatives using flowers to spread love, kindness, and hope across communities. As a non-profit, The Flower Community GH aims to bring communities together, creating a greener, more sustainable future.

As part of the fair, several activities have also been outlined including edible flowers and teas, exhibitions, garden convos, green schools, music’s, workshops, women’s achievement gallery among others.
