On January 23, 2025, the Director General of Ghana TVET Service, Mr. David Prah, led a high-powered delegation to Botoku Technical Institute in the Volta Region. The team included the Director for Infrastructure Development, Volta Regional Director, and Principals of Volta Technical Institute, Anlo Technical Institute, Have Technical Institute, and Amedzope Technical Institute, alongside staff from the headquarters.
The visit aimed to inspect ongoing construction works and reinforce Ghana TVET Service’s commitment to delivering world-class Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) nationwide.
Addressing stakeholders, Mr. David Prah commended the Chief and Elders of Botoku for their unwavering support in shaping the future of TVET in the region. He emphasized that their commitment would gradually position Botoku Technical Institute as a model institution.
Encouraging students, he urged them to take their studies seriously, believe in themselves, and be confident in their choice of TVET as a pathway to a successful career.
Beyond infrastructure development, the visit underscored the strong collaboration between Ghana TVET Service and local communities in building a skilled and innovative workforce for national development.
