The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is intensifying its preparations for the upcoming 2024 GUSA Games, scheduled to take place from 28th December, 2024 to 15th January, 2025
Miss. Janet Bekoe, the Director of sports disclosed to AccraDailyPost that, the institution is determined to make a remarkable impact at the games.
“We are targeting a remarkable feat this year,” Mrs. Bekoe stated. “We are holding justifiers for our students to select the best talents to represent the university in various events.”
UCC will be parading over 200 contingents, comprising officials and talented students who will participate in a range of events, including football, table tennis, athletics, basketball, volleyball, hockey, tennis, and more.
With its sights set on victory, the university is leaving no stone unturned in its quest for excellence.
The GUSA Games provide a platform for universities in Ghana to compete and showcase their sporting prowess, and UCC is determined to make its mark.
