Wanderlust expedition group on a 30,000 km journey across 30 countries, recently faced a near-miss in South Africa when a careless truck driver failed to check his side mirror, cutting dangerously in front of one of their vehicles, a Toyota Tacoma. Captured in a video shared on Wanderlust’s Facebook page, the incident showed the Ghanaian driver skillfully swerving off the road to avoid a collision.

The daring journey began in Accra in September, with plans to traverse numerous countries before concluding in Dubai. So far, the team has successfully covered 15 nations on this adventurous expedition, which aims to showcase Ghana’s culture and resilience on a global stage.

Earlier this year, Wanderlust also completed a 10,000 km journey from Ghana to London, drawing significant attention. By collaborating with the Ghana Tourism Authority, Wanderlust uses these expeditions to promote Ghana as a unique travel destination, capturing the imagination of international audiences and building bridges across continents.
