A widow has come forward on a Ghanaian pastor’s confession show, revealing that her extramarital affair resulted in the deaths of both her husband and her lover. The widow, Enyonam, confessed her story on Prophet Prince Elisha Osei Kofi’s show, seeking refuge as she now faces a similar illness that claimed the lives of both men.
Enyonam’s husband, a military officer, had been on a peacekeeping mission for over a year. During his absence, she engaged in an affair with another soldier living in the same barracks. When her husband returned, she avoided performing her marital duties, fearing the repercussions of her infidelity due to a cultural belief in Ewe traditions.
After confiding in a friend who dismissed her fears, she resumed her duties as a wife, only for her husband to fall ill and die. Following his death, Enyonam resumed her relationship with the other soldier, who also fell ill and passed away. Now fearing for her own life, Enyonam turned to the pastor to confess and seek spiritual intervention.
