The Center for Architecture and Arts Heritage-Africa, led by Arc. David Kojo Derban, is set to host the 2025 edition of the public lecture on Accra’s Architectural Heritage. 

Scheduled for Thursday, January 30th, 2025, at the British Council Auditorium in Accra, the event promises to be an enlightening exploration of heritage policy, regeneration, and tourism. 

The lecture aims to bring together top architects from across Ghana and Africa, providing a platform for networking, collaborations, and knowledge sharing.

It is also poised to be a life-changing experience, offering insights into the role of architecture in shaping the city’s identity and promoting sustainable development.

As the main speaker, Professor Iain Jackson from the University of Liverpool will deliver a keynote address on the sustainability and advantages of architecture. Professor Jackson’s expertise in the field is expected to shed new light on the importance of preserving Accra’s architectural heritage.
