Annual Voodoo Festival to Be Held In Klikor.

Ghana is gearing up to host its inaugural Annual Voodoo and Cultural Music Festival, slated to take place in August this year in Klikor, near Agbozume in the Volta Region. The festival aims to celebrate ancestral cults, traditional music, and other cultural aspects to boost the country’s tourism and cultural richness.

The event, organized by ‘Cloud 9 Gangs,’ a prominent entertainment and event organization based in Accra, promises a vibrant showcase of cultural troupes, traditional musical groups, musicians, and poets from Ghana and neighboring West African countries like Togo, Benin, and Nigeria.

Participants and attendees can expect a mesmerizing display of magical prowess, reminiscent of practices in other regions like Benin. The festival’s lead organizer and CEO of Cloud 9 Gangs, Kwamivi Ashiaby, expressed excitement about the event, emphasizing efforts to make it a mega festival with diverse traditional music and participants from across the region.

Registration for interested groups and individuals, including cultural troupes, traditional musical groups, musicians, poets, and observers, is already open. The organizers are also welcoming content creators and bloggers to help promote the event, offering to take care of travel papers, tickets, accommodation, and feeding for registered participants.
