KOD explained that, while in secondary school, he sold music CDs and cassettes at a shop linked to Despite, an experience that marked the beginning of their long-standing relationship. This job played a significant role in his entry into the music and entertainment industry.

He recounted working alongside the shop of musician Daddy Lumba, noting that these early roles were foundational to his career. KOD described the work as his “secondary school job,” which introduced him to the dynamics of the music industry in Ghana.

Additionally, KOD disclosed that he was considered for a role at Peace FM during its establishment, but could not join due to his existing position at Radio Gold. His commitments at the time prevented him from being publicly associated with the new station.
