Richie Mensah Confirms Kuami Eugene’s Exit from Lynx Entertainment
Richie Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Lynx Entertainment, has confirmed that award-winning Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene is no longer signed to the record label. Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, Richie responded to a question about Kuami Eugene’s current status with the label, stating, “Yes, that’s public knowledge.”
This confirmation officially marks the end of Kuami Eugene’s eight-year relationship with Lynx Entertainment. In October 2024, Kuami Eugene dismissed earlier rumours about his exit, assuring fans that any decision to leave would be communicated publicly by both him and Lynx. “At the end of the day, if we are close to the level where we feel like ‘okay, Kuami is no longer with Lynx,’ we will put it out for everyone to know,” he said at the time.
Richie Mensah also shared updates on the label’s current roster, which now includes KiDi, DJ Vyrusky, and DSL. Lynx Entertainment has been home to many notable artistes in the past, including Eazzy, Asem, Zigi, Irene Logan, and O.J Blaq.
Kuami Eugene’s collaborations with Lynx Entertainment was successful, during which the highlife and afrobeat star released several hit songs and gained widespread recognition across the continent. Fans now eagerly await news on the next phase of his career.
