Kidi Mocks Mr. Drew For Losing The TGMA Award.
In a recent 3music interview, Mr. Drew expressed his disappointment over losing the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Best Collaboration of the Year award to KiDi. He argued that his song “Case,” which featured an unknown artist and achieved significant success, was the most impactful in that category. Drew stated, “No song was bigger or more impactful than ‘Case.’” He felt that this level of success deserved the award.
Despite his disappointment, Mr. Drew mentioned he harbors no ill feelings toward KiDi. In response, KiDi posted a sarcastic reaction video on X, seemingly mocking Mr. Drew’s comments. This post has since sparked numerous reactions on the platform.
The Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024 took place on June 1, 2024, with Stonebwoy clinching seven trophies during the event. The night also saw KiDi win Best Collaboration of the Year, beating out Mr. Drew, Oseikrom Sikani, Amerado, King Paluta, FRA, and Akwaboah.
