TikTok Has Been Restored In The U.S., And They Have Openly Thanked Trump For His Intervention.

TikTok has returned to U.S. users just 12 hours after going offline, thanks to an intervention by President-elect Donald Trump. The app, which was inaccessible late Saturday night due to a ban, is now operational again.

Users attempting to open TikTok during the downtime were met with a message explaining that a law banning the app had been enacted. The app was also removed from the Apple and Google Play stores, along with ByteDance-owned platforms like Lemon8 and CapCut.

Trump announced on Sunday that he would issue an executive order upon his inauguration to delay enforcement of the ban. Hours later, TikTok restored access to its app and website for U.S. users, attributing the move to Trump’s efforts.

TikTok’s 170 million American users, many of whom rely on the app for entertainment, news, and income, can now resume their activities. The platform welcomed users back with a notification thanking them for their patience and confirming Trump’s role in its restoration.

This swift reversal not only brings relief to TikTok users but also positions Trump for a political win, with the promise of an executive order further solidifying his role in the platform’s comeback.
