The National Sports Authority (NSA) issued a statement announcing the temporary closure of Accra Sports Stadium for football activities in preparation for the upcoming Christmas events.
The statement read, “The National Sports Authority wishes to inform you about the Accra Sports Stadium’s unavailability for sporting purposes in December.”

“By this letter, all the clubs who use the Accra Sports Stadium are entreated to use their alternative venues to honour their league matches in December.”
People have expressed their concerns and suggestions on social media. One post said, “Accra Sports Stadium, managed by the National Sports Authority, is now an event centre managed by EVENT Management team.”
